Every finish. Every size. Every thickness.
Brushed is our signature finish β available in any grit from a coarse 16 for maximum grip to a fine 120 for a soft, velvety sheen. We also cut sawn, honed, tumbled, split-face, and bush-hammered, in any dimension and thickness your project calls for. Tell us your specification and we cut to it.
Ships by pallet or container to any US state Β· Lead time quoted per order
Suitability varies with size, thickness, finish, and substrate. Tell us your application when you request a quote and we will confirm the right specification for it.
Bedding: full-bed sand and cement mix or a flexible adhesive appropriate to the substrate.
Joints: from 3 mm for sawn tiles; wider for split-face setts and cobbles.
Sealing: a quality impregnating sealer is recommended for limestone and shellstone; basalt and granite typically need none.
Cutting: wet saw with a diamond blade.
Installation requirements differ by stone and format β a product-specific method note is included with every quote, and our team is available for your installer’s technical questions.
Pricing improves materially with quantity: pallet rates beat per-piece pricing, and full-container rates beat both. Every quote is calculated quarry-direct, with no distributor margin in between.
Distributors, stone yards, and retailers: our Trade & Wholesale Program covers container-load pricing, recurring supply schedules, and private-label production.
Orders ship by pallet or full container to any US state, with kerbside delivery to the nearest safe access point. Lead times depend on stone, finish, and quantity, and are confirmed with your quote. Samples reach any US address within five working days.
Every crate is inspected and photographed before it leaves the yard β if anything is wrong on arrival, contact us and we will make it right.
Some stones are finished to look refined; this one is finished to be used. Ambra Reale is our amber-and-cream limestone β a warm Mediterranean gold threaded with russet veining β and the 24-grit brush is its toughest texture grade: a coarse abrasive pass that carves real relief into the face and turns a handsome stone into a working outdoor surface.
Every tile is cut, brushed, and graded at our own facility in the Middle East, the same operation behind our basalt and shellstone lines, which is why the pricing is factory-level and why we can cut any dimension you specify rather than selling only what sits in a warehouse.
A brushing head loaded with 24-grit abrasive is deliberately aggressive. It scours out the softer calcite, follows the stone’s natural grain, and leaves a deeply textured, completely matte face β then, because brushing abrades rather than chisels, every raised point comes away rounded. The practical result: a surface that channels water off the contact point and holds bare feet securely on wet coping, yet feels worn-smooth rather than rasping. Under low evening sun the carved relief throws tiny shadows across the amber, and the gold deepens toward honey β a light show a honed floor simply doesn’t perform.
Pool surrounds, coping runs, and wet walkways where secure footing is non-negotiable
Sun terraces, courtyards, and al-fresco dining floors
Exterior steps, ramps, and sloped garden routes
Interior kitchens, hallways, and mudrooms where a forgiving, textured floor earns its keep
Far lighter than dark paving, the gold reflects solar heat instead of banking it, keeping the surface tolerable through summer afternoons β one reason light limestone has paved hot-climate courtyards for centuries.
Golden stone rewards a few deliberate choices. Sand, ivory, or pale beige joints dissolve into the field and read as one continuous surface; warm gray or taupe joints outline each tile for a crisper, more architectural grid β either works, bright white rarely does. Expect the amber-to-cream span to vary crate to crate: open every box and shuffle pieces across the full area as you lay, so the tonal spread balances instead of banding. For contrast, few pairings beat a charcoal frame β a black basalt border or step run against a gold field is one of the strongest combinations in our range.
Use an impregnating, vapor-permeable sealer and reapply on the schedule your sealer manufacturer specifies for exterior stone. Skip film-forming topical products outdoors: they trap moisture beneath a plastic skin that can whiten and peel. If chalky white patches ever appear, that’s efflorescence β mineral salts migrating out with moisture β and the fix is dry brushing once the stone has dried, a remover formulated for acid-sensitive stone if deposits persist, and a look at drainage to stop the source. Day to day, a stiff non-wire broom and a cleaner made for calcareous stone are all the routine this finish asks; keep vinegar, citrus, and acidic tile products away from any limestone. And because Ambra Realeβs russet veining is iron-bearing, wet-zone installs ride on drainage: free-draining bedding and a maintained breathable sealer keep moisture moving, so the iron stays a color rather than becoming a stain β send your layout with your inquiry and weβll confirm detailing for coping and splash zones before you order.
Dimensions, thicknesses, and finish grades are cut to your specification with lead times quoted per order, and full pallets or containers deliver across the US and worldwide. Numbers matter on commercial work, so we supply ASTM C97 absorption and C170 compressive results per production batch rather than quoting generic figures β ask and we’ll attach the current sheet to your quote. Before any of that: order a sample. Texture depth and the amber range are physical qualities; your hands will judge them better than any screen.
Choose Your Finish with Confidence
The finish decides how your stone looks, feels and grips underfoot. Compare every finish we produce — brushed 16, 36 and 80 grit, honed and bush-hammered — photographed up close on the actual stone we stock, so you can judge the texture before you order.
